All potential students are encouraged to register with Primus Learning. However, all students must be 18 years of age or older and be able to present a copy of at least a high school diploma or equivalent due to restrictions set forth by private higher education institutions.
A computer (not a tablet, phone, or Chromebook) with a reliable internet connection and a webcam are required. Your computer must run either Windows 10 (as of at least 2010), Apple's OS X operating system, or a Linux distribution like Debian or Ubuntu.
We welcome all international applicants; we have previously accepted students from other countries; however, immigration laws in the United States create some uncertainty about whether an applicant will be allowed to work in the country, even if they leave our program well-trained and fully qualified.
For admission to our program, Primus Learning does not require any specific technical skills. A successful candidate is highly motivated, disciplined, and has strong convictions about pursuing a career as a Devops Engineer or AWS Solutions Architect. Our cohort includes students from a variety of professional backgrounds, ethnic/cultural backgrounds, gender/sexual identities, and age groups.
By the end of the program, you will have amassed a sizable portfolio of cloud computing projects. You will be collaborating closely with one of our career coaches. We do a variety of things to assist you in finding work, including:
- AWS Fundamentals Lectures
- Leading students through our whiteboard problem curriculum, which includes problems similar to those encountered in interviews.
- Interviewing classes on Negotiation
- Weekly coaching support, which includes group meetings, interview prep sessions, individual check-ins, group pair boarding, team debugging, and mock interviews.
